We supply German tool steels and specialty steels to order, for industries such as oil, gas and petrochemicals, aviation, steel and automotive.
When both the steel and the heat treatment come from us, the material and the process are chosen together from the start. For example, we supplied the steel for the 250 mm 1.2344 forging dies and then hardened the dies in our vacuum furnace.
Copper alloys
Types and uses
We supply bronzes, beryllium copper, aluminium bronze and pure copper, made to the customer's dimensions or drawing.
With their wide range of mechanical and physical properties, copper alloys have a great many uses: from oil-well drilling equipment to parts that need special electrical conductivity, and resistance seam-welding wheels. Beryllium copper is also used in plastic injection moulds.
Aluminium-bronze bushings
In many applications, aluminium bronze is a longer-lasting alternative to phosphor bronze. The aluminium-bronze bushings we supply are centrifugally cast, so they have far fewer of the defects common in conventional casting, such as porosity.
Because their dimensions are controlled more closely in casting, and machining scrap goes back into production, they are also competitively priced.
